Mexican City of Morelia Facilitates CNG Conversions

The City of Morelia, the capital of the central Mexican state of Michoacán, is receiving applications from public transport entities interested in participating in a program to convert vehicles from gasoline to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). Texas Bill Filed for Continuation of NGV Incentives

Legislation has been filed in the U.S. State of Texas to continue natural gas vehicle and station funding under the Texas Emission Reduction Plan (TERP). Senate Bill 26 (SB 26), lodged 18 January, includes the Governmental Alternative Fuel Fleet Grant Program encouraging state fleets with more than 15 vehicles to purchase new alternative fuel vehicles. Ontario Trucking Association Facilitates Fleet Transition to Natural Gas

The Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) has issued a report entitled Natural Gas as an Alternative Fuel for Canadian Truck Fleets: A Roadmap Toward Implementation. NGC CNG company, a subsidiary of The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago, is offering a fuel-based incentive to owners of school buses to switch to compressed natural gas (CNG). A Memorandum of Understanding between Private School Transport Association of Trinidad & Tobago (PSTATT), representing owners of school transport omnibuses, and NGC CNG was signed last week, effective through to December 31, 2018 or earlier if the offering is fully subscribed.
