Michigan Close to Adopting Federal Weight Exemption for HD NGVs

The U.S. State of Pennsylvania Senate has unanimously approved a bill introduced by Sen. Wayne Langerholc  to promote the use of cleaner-burning natural gas in larger vehicles. The Senator’s SB 589 increases the maximum allowable weight for motor carrier vehicles that are powered by natural gas from 80,000 pounds to 82,000 pounds, to accommodate the heavier equipment needed for natural-gas burning vehicles. Third PPP CNG Station for Pennsylvania

PennDOT LogoIn the U.S. State of Pennsylvania, Governor Tom Wolf has opened the third of 29 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling stations planned as part of a Public Private Partnership (P3). Through the $84.5 million statewide P3 project, Trillium CNG will design, build, finance, operate and maintain all 29 CNG fueling stations at public transit agency sites through a 20-year P3 agreement. According to the Muncie Journal, Muncie Sanitary District’s GreenLine CNG Station introduced the CNG vehicles, all Ford models, at a dedication ceremony on May 17 at the city’s GreenLine Gas Station.
