Argentina Approves Major Import Tariff Reduction for Natural Gas Powered Trucks

Galileo LNG dispenser to Scania TruckThe Government of Argentina has reduced to between 2% and 5% the importation tariffs for trucks powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and biogas/biomethane, and associated components, through Decree 440/2019 as published in the Official Gazette. The Decree brings into effect the ‘Thirty-eighth Additional Protocol’ pertaining to Argentine Standard Agreement No. 00014/2008, which set the previous tariff at 35%. Read more »

HAM Group, through its subsidiaries HAM Criogénica and Vakuum, has been responsible for designing, building and start-up of two mobile Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) units in Switzerland. The company is the first to provide such a solutions in this country, where until now there has been no LNG service station infrastructure despite the maturity of the market and its use in neighbouring European countries.
