Strasbourg Transport Builds Third CNG Station

| France, Strasbourg

Bus livery highlights CTS's commitment toward CNG buses and a clean environment.

GNVert, part of the GDF Suez group, is constructing a third natural gas service station for Compagnie de Transports Strasbourgeois (CTS), in France’s north-east. With stations already in the districts of Elsau and Kibitzenau, the third is to be constructed in Cronenbourg. The stations have been built to support CTS’s goal of converting its entire bus fleet to natural gas for better environmental protection. Today CTS operates 112 compressed natural gas (CNG) buses.

GNVert, French distributor and marketer of environmentally friendly fuels, has built and operated more than 135 CNG filling stations in France , including some stations dedicated to heavy vehicles (buses, refuse collection, transport vehicles) and more than 110 stations dedicated to light company vehicles.
