Solaris Urbino 18 CNG LE (Low Entry)
Polish bus manufacturer Solaris Bus and Coach SA has introduced a new low-entry model to its range – the compressed natural gas (CNG) powered Solaris Urbino 18 LE CNG. The 18-meter articulated bus can be successfully powered by renewable biomethane as well. The vehicle is powered by a Cummins engine ISLG EEV 320 power 234.8 kW (320 hp), meeting the EEV (‘Enhanced Environmentally friendly Vehicle’ — European Emissions Standard). Eight composite tanks for natural gas, which have a total capacity of 1712 liters (420 m3), are fitted to the vehicle’s roof.
