Colorado-based Redmark CNG Services, a CNG conversion and service provider, has chosen Cobham Mission Systems (Cobham) as a Type 4 cylinder preferred supplier. Redmark’s team has delivered upfit CNG vehicles to multiple fleets in the region.
“We have chosen Cobham to be our supplier of choice because the superior customer service, pricing, quality, and the flexibility they offer falls in line with our business model perfectly”, said Kris Kielty, President of Redmark.
Tim Sopko, Vice President, General Manager, Cobham Mission Systems said, “Becoming a preferred supplier for Redmark further validates our strategy of growing our business by providing first class customer service, quick turnaround times, and competitive pricing. We are committed to helping our customers succeed by delivering high quality, affordable cylinders how and when they need them.”
Cobham’s current offering includes a 21″ diameter family of various lengths available in strap and boss mounts. Additional sizes, including a 17″ diameter family of cylinders, will be available to the market spring of this year with larger diameter sizes planned for release later in 2017. The company also produces customised sizes as needed.
As part of its commitment to offer superior products, additional load testing is performed to validate that the mounts and composite interface will withstand long term vehicle usage. Cobham cylinders are significantly more resistant to permeation for added safety.
