Earlier this month, Siroco Holdings SAC opened a new compressed natural gas (CNG) service station in the city of Callao, in west-central Peru. Now with three operational filling stations, the two others in Cercado de Lima and La Victoria, Siroco plans to add three more stations within a year, said the company’s general manager José Montero, reports the Peruvian Chamber of Natural Gas Vehicles (CPGNV).

The new stations are planned for Comas, San Juan de Lurigancho and Pueblo Libre, all part of Lima.

Montero said at the opening ceremony for the Callao facility, “In these two and half years of operation of CNG Siroco, we have served more than one and a half million vehicles.”
