Natural Gas for Transportation – Exciting FREE Seminar Program 3-5 June

Starting June 3 in Paris, the International Gas Union (IGU), together with NGV Global and NGVA Europe will commence World Gas Conference 2015, bringing together expertise and technology from around the globe and demonstrating the growth of natural gas toward becoming a mainstream fuel for transportation. A ‘Natural Gas for Transportation’ (NGV) Village will be featured for the first time on the exhibition floor, where major vehicle manufacturers Renault Trucks and Mercedes-Benz, CNH/Iveco, Fiat and others will showcase their latest natural gas powered vehicles, all complemented by a free-to-attend NGV Seminar Program.
The Program for the NGV Village Seminar is available online here: www.wgc2015.org/ng4t-village-program/. It will open with a Political Forum at 10:00 AM Wednesday with speakers from the European Commission, European Parliament, IGU, International Energy Agency and GDF Suez.
The Forum will be followed at 12 noon by the Official Arrival of the 2015 Blue Corridor NGV Rally. Vehicles will depart from a starting point in St Petersburg on May 24, and travel via Moscow, Minsk, Warsaw, Berlin, Amsterdam and Brussels before heading in Paris for June 3. Crews and NGVs from Russia, Germany, France, Italy, Czech Republic are participating.
The Village Seminar Program, developed between NGV Global and NGVA Europe, is also the main NGVA Europe conference event for 2015. The collaborative approach has attracted the interest and participation of industry leaders to deliver a remarkable program that will profile the rapidly growing natural gas as a transportation fuel sector. Presentations will be delivered by Iveco/CNH, Daimler, Volvo Group, Shell, and Hexagon Raufoss to name just a few.
On Thursday will be a Technical Forum, where issues facing the industry will be discussed, followed by presentations from cylinder and equipment manufacturers, OEMs, gas suppliers and more.
Finally, on Friday, presentations from various international manufacturers will round out a rich and informative program.
