NGV Global has announced the successful bidder of and location for NGV Global 2014, the association’s 14th biennial conference and exhibition. The event will be held at the Long Beach Convention and Exhibition Centre in May 2014, following a successful bid from Gladstein Neandross and Associates (GNA). Announcing the successful bid at the NGV Global General Assembly, Alicia Milner, Events Committee Chair and incoming Chair of the Association, said that one of the strengths of the bid was the high level of support from high level industry members.
The event will be co-located with ACT Expo, GNA’s annual alternative and clean transportation fuels conference and expo. Explaining that it’s the first time NGV Global has co-located with another event, Milner said this was expected to draw delegates and visitors covering a wider spectrum, especially fleet operators.
Located less than 40 minutes from Los Angeles Airport and in the hub of the Californian NGV industry, the event is also expected to draw a large contingent of international delegates.
Further details will be added to the NGV Global 2014 website as they are finalised.
