■  November 6 – Technical Forum (open)
■  November 7, 8, 9 – Conference
■  November 8, 9, 10 – Exhibition

NGV Global is pleased to announce the relocation of its 2012 biennial conference and exhibition to Mexico City, the largest and capital city of Mexico. The program has also been revised and expanded, with dates changed to accommodate an open technical forum followed by a three-day conference and overlapping exhibition. The re-scheduled program will enable participants and exhibitors to attend a wider range of activities than previously planned as well as provide Mexico ample opportunity to demonstrate its growing commitment toward developing natural gas fuel as a viable and cleaner choice for its transportation sector.

A Call for Papers will be issued shortly.

In Mexico City, Mexico State and a number of other states, compressed natural gas powered vehicles are exempt from the “Hoy no circula”, an environmental program introduced in 1989 to limit pollution by prohibiting the circulation of 20% of vehicles from Monday to Friday depending on the last digit of their license plates.

Altogether, ten states are currently taking effective actions towards the introduction of natural gas.
