NefAZ PTC, a subsidiary of KamAZ in Bashkiria, has delivered a batch of 20 low-entry 5299-30-51 buses running on compressed natural gas (CNG) to Sverdlovsk Oblast, of which the city of Yekaterinburg is the administrative centre. The buses were delivered to the local enterprise specializing in passenger transportation on the city and interurban routes and serves citizens in two city regions.
The NefAZ 5299-30-51 bus is equipped with a gas engine compliant with the Euro 5 emission standards. To add to this, the vehicle features a ECAS (floor lifting) system, a ramp and space for wheel-chaired passengers. The bus can accommodate up to 106 people.
The buses are supplied by KamAZ PTC’s official dealer – OOO Spetsavtoremservis jointly with Leasing Company KamAZ Inc.

NefAZ-5299-11-31 CNG buses for NP Avtoline
Also delivered were two gas-powered NEFAZ-5299-11-31 to NP Avtoline, one of the largest carriers of Novokuznetsk, a city in Kemerovo Oblast in south-western Siberia, where they will be used as crew transporters.
“The new buses have 45 seats, and they can accommodate up to 89 people. They will start running on the city’s roads as soon as possible. We plan to purchase another five buses of this model,” said Evgenia Kryukova, Director of Avtoline.
The vehicles are supplied by KamAZ PTC’s official dealer – AO Vostokavtotrans.
