MGM Resorts International unveiled what it claims to be the United States’ first commercial fleet of compressed natural gas (CNG) fueled Cadillac Escalades during the National Clean Energy Summit at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on August 13. Converted by World CNG, an alternative fuel technology provider, the six EPA-certified luxury vehicles will service ARIA Resort & Casino and Bellagio Resort & Casino.
“We are excited to introduce the nation’s first commercial fleet of CNG Cadillac Escalades,” said Jim Murren, Chairman & CEO of MGM Resorts International. “Environmental responsibility is a core component of our culture and we continuously seek new opportunities to make sustainable services available to our guests.”
The new Cadillac Escalades will join a family of other CNG vehicles in MGM Resorts’ transportation portfolio, including the company’s 26 CNG stretch-limo fleet which are re-fabricated Ford Lincoln Town Cars.
