Lancia New Ypsilon available with natural gas bi-fuel engine

At last month’s Frankfurt International Motor Show, Lancia took the opportunity to showcase its New Ypsilon EcoChic. One of the five ecological Euro 6 engine options is methane, combined with manual or automatic transmission. The new vehicle is already on sale across the main European markets.

With 15″ alloy rims and a streamline design clearly inspired by the “Y” shape logo., Lancia’s bi-fuel engine is a 80 hp 0.9 Twinair Turbo Methane/Petrol, which guarantees low emissions (86 g/km of CO2) and , says the press release, “remarkably brilliant performance”.

The New Ypsilon retains its qualities of compactness and versatility. It has five doors and compact dimensions, 384 cm in length, 168 wide, 152 high, with 239 cm wheelbase. These features make it ideal for urban use.
