Several natural gas vehicle (NGV) buses manufactured by Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) will arrive in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, for testing in 2014. Model MAZ-203965, based on the MAZ-203 low-floor series, is already in operation in Belarus, Russia and elsewhere. Kazan plans to purchase 65 of the compressed natural gas (CNG) buses which meet the Euro EEV environmental standard.
