As part of the contract, Mack Defense will supply Mack® Pinnacle™, Mack Granite® and Mack TerraPro® models from now until the initial contract ends Oct. 31, 2015. The natural gas Pinnacle is offered in a 4×2 and 6×4 day cab on this contract.

The GSA contract also includes natural gas-powered vehicles from Mack. Mack offers the natural gas-powered Pinnacle highway model, which runs on either compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied natural gas (LNG). All vehicles supplied under this contract will be CNG-powered, however LNG has been discussed as a possibility for future contracts.

A Mack Defense spokesperson told NGV Global News this is believed to be the first time that natural gas vehicles have been offered by GSA.
