ILJIN Composites Co., Ltd., a South Korean supplier of Type 4 Composite Cylinders manufacturer for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and hydrogen in various applications like automotive vehicles and gas storage, has successfully tendered to supply 58 CNG modules to Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ), a manufacturer of buses and heavy duty trucks in Russia and CIS countries.
With technical know-how and experience, ILJIN Composites has been supplying composite tanks to major automotive companies around the world and specially has an experience of mass production for 700 bar hydrogen tank for Hyundai motor group.
The CNG modules are destined for MAZ 203L65 12 metre low-floor buses, designed for city and suburban services.
“We are expecting increased levels of activity from bus and heavy duty truck industry which has growing demand for CNG systems. We have introduced the full range of fueling systems,” said Woosuk Chung, the sales manager of ILJIN Composites.
