Jiangxi Plans Multiple Natural Gas Filling Stations Over 5 Years

Over the next five years, Sinopec Petroleum will undertake a major natural gas refueling station construction project in Jiangxi province in south eastern China: 97 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)  stations will be built in the center and county of the prefecture-level capital city of Nanchang and 76 Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) stations will also be constructed in and around the city.

Furthermore, 16 LNG filling stations will be built along major transportation routes, and 11 LNG filling stations are planned for the cities of Jiujiang and Ganzhou, to meet the different needs of the market.

Current construction includes stations that will improve supply for the prefecture’s CNG-powered taxi fleet.
