IVECO Eurocargo CNG for Coca-Cola, Netherlands
Recently, Iveco Netherlands (via Lease Plan) delivered the first Iveco Eurocargo CNG Natural Power for operational use in the Netherlands, to Coca-Cola Enterprises Netherlands BV for incorporation into its Special Events fleet in Rotterdam. Coca-Cola Enterprises’ sustainability policies are aimed at delivering products with 20% less CO2 emissions by 2020.
The supplied model, a Eurocargo ML120EL20 CNG, is equipped with: Tector-turbocharged and intercooled 4-cylinder of 5880 cc which develops 200 hp between 1850-2700 r / min. and a torque of 650 Nm.; ZF 6S700 6-speed type transmission; and 6 CNG cylinders storing 480 litres (3×80, 3×80).
The fleet vehicle will travel approximately 20,000 km / year.
The standard Eurocargo Natural Power is available in versions with gross vehicle weight from 12 to 16 t, special 6 cylinder 200 HP engine for CNG and 9-speed manual gearbox. Iveco says the CNG Eurocargo has by far the lowest environmental impact among internal combustion engine: no sulphur, hydrocarbons or particulate at the exhaust; CO2 emissions lower up to 20% compared to Diesel engines of equal performance.
