Powered by CNG the Workstar becomes a sustainable worktruck.
In October 2010, International Trucks announced a partnership with Emission Solutions, Inc. (ESI) to provide a new natural gas engine offering in the International WorkStar truck. The International WorkStar CNG 7300/7400, which is 2010 EPA and CARB certified, is now available.
According to International, the CNG Workstar, built at International’s facilities with the ESI engines offers the best power-to-weight ratio in its class and up to 300 HP and 860 lb. ft of torque.
The CNG Workstar requires no emissions after-treatment. International are backing up the release with an enthusiastic promotion, including a video available to view here.
