
Chevrolet Tahoe, now available as bi-fuel CNG
Model Year 2015 General Motors 1500 (half ton) Pick-Up Truck and 1500 Chevy Tahoe
IMPCO Automotive, a division of IMPCO Technologies, Inc. and a subsidiary of Fuel Systems Solutions, Inc., has gained U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification for its 2015 General Motors 1500 (half ton) Pick-Up truck and 1500 Chevy Tahoe. The vehicles feature the 5.3-Liter EcoTec3 Direct Injection engine.
IMPCO Automotive is General Motors’ primary alternative fuel system supplier in North America. The company’s 5.3 Bi-Fuel compressed natural gas (CNG) conversion consists of its adaptive calibration technology that ensures a robust and durable product for the end user, while maximizing the efficiency of the CNG.
This product expands IMPCO Automotive’s working class pick-up truck offering to now include Bi-Fuel CNG GM 2500/3500 All Cab and Bed lengths (OEM), Bi-Fuel CNG GM 1500 all cab and bed lengths, Bi-Fuel CNG Ford F250 all cab and bed lengths.
