The Hexagon Group is gathering all its business units under one name: Hexagon. The renowned subsidiaries Ragasco, Lincoln Composites, Hexagon Raufoss and Devold AMT have for several years been a part of the Hexagon Group, and now the time has come for a common visual identity. The change to a unified group under Hexagon became effective 4 March 2013. With the new identity, Hexagon Composites wants to clarify aspirations for the future.
Ragasco, Lincoln Composites, Hexagon Raufoss and Devold AMT will continue as sub brands in the new identity.
Hexagon Composites has strong ambitions to grow internationally and aim to have a distinct visual identity that can contribute as a driving force in this process. The new visual identity has been based on the group’s previous identity and logo symbol, the hexagon. The solid and distinct hexagon is motivated by the company’s history, unique technology expertise and leading market position.
The Hexagon symbol is made up of lines that form 60 degree angles. This is the way fibre is both knit and wound and provides a reinforcing effect on the composite products we manufacture. This is precisely what makes the symbol so important for our identity.
Previous legal entities have changed to the following new legal entities:
- Ragasco AS >> Hexagon Ragasco AS
- Lincoln Composites Inc. >> Hexagon Lincoln Inc.
- Hexagon Raufoss AS (previously Raufoss Fuel System AS) >> Hexagon Raufoss AS
- Devold AMT AS >> Hexagon Devold AS
Hexagon Composites ASA retains its name without change. The above entities form three business units of Hexagon Composites with Hexagon Lincoln and Hexagon Raufoss together forming a high-pressure cylinders unit.
