Czech Post, the largest postal operator in the Czech Republic, posted tender documentation on December 12, 2011 for the leasing of 412 public utility N1 vehicles powered by compressed natural gas (CNG). The successful tender will be selected based on lowest price.
Three vehicle types are specified: 182 light two-seater utility vehicles, made up of 115 light utility two-seater vehicles with about 3 m3 cargo space and 67 light commercial five-seat vehicles (cars) with 0.5 to 2.5 m3 cargo space; and 230 light commercial vans with 10 m3 cargo space. The specifications include full-service operation leasing over 60 months, for vehicles with total weight not exceeding 3,500 kgs.
