Compac Industries Ltd has been awarded a tender by Indian company Mahanager Gas Limited (MGL), a natural gas distribution joint venture between GAIL (India) Ltd, the BG Group, (U.K.) and the Government of Maharashtra, to supply 40 Car CNG Dispensers and 4 Bus CNG Dispensers.
The CNG dispenser order will help MGL in expanding their fuel delivery services throughout Mumbai. To be supplied early this year, the dispensers will cater to India’s growing demand for CNG. With all types of vehicles converting – Auto-rickshaws, Taxi’s, Buses and Cars – cleaner refuelling alternatives are in high demand.
MGL’s purchase of Compac Dispensers adds to the growing number of CNG Dispensers Compac already have installed in India – over 1300 dispensers are successfully operating throughout the country.
