Canadian truck builder Alpine Shredders Ltd has produced the first document shredder truck in North America powered entirely by compressed natural gas (CNG), reports Today’s Trucking. Alpine Sales Manager Guy Wakutz explains that although the price start point is higher, two years down the track it is all cost savings for the vehicle built around a Peterbilt 382 chassis and powered by a Cummins Westport ISL G engine.
