Chevrolet’s 2017 Impala Order Guide confirms the auto manufacturer’s intention to continue to provide top quality compressed natural gas (CNG) sedans next year. Chevrolet is offering the Impala with a 3.6L DOHC V6 Bi-Fuel LFR engine (operates on both gasoline and CNG).
As for other Chevrolet models, the Impala LTZ version will now be called the Premier model. There are several other changes compared to the previous model, including revised colour options and revamped interior.
According to the order guide, two Impala models are being offered with CNG: the LS (1GX69) and the LT (1GY69), both with the LFR bi-fuel engine.
Chevy is expected to begin deliveries of ordered Impalas sometime in the third quarter of 2016, but details for CNG Impalas are yet to be revealed.
