Nashik Next for CNG Fuel in India

Nashik, MaharashtraNashik, an ancient holy city in the northwest region of Maharashtra in India, is set to become another growth region for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles as India responds to the government’s call for increased use of this cleaner and increasingly available fuel. Gas into Motors Rally vehicles at finishThe world’s longest NGV rally ‘Gas into Engines’, crossing China, Qazaqstan (formerly Kazakhstan) and Russia, concluded October 7 in Moscow. 18 OEM LNG and CNG powered vehicles participated in the event which commenced September 4 in Rudong, China. CNG refueling AntarresConstruction of the CNG Romania Project’s first of nine Compressed Natural Gas filling stations is underway. The project was initiated by Denisson Energy SRL, member of Antares Group, and the NGVA Romania Association. The location of the station subscribes to the project strategy to serve the transit on pan-European corridors as well as the urban traffic. Madrid Adds 276 Mercedes Benz Natural Gas Buses

Mercedes-Benz Citaro for EMTEMT, the transport company of the Spanish capital Madrid, is set to receive a total of 276 Mercedes-Benz Citaro NGT urban buses with natural gas drive in the next two years. This will be the fourth major order from Madrid in quick succession. 672 environmentally friendly Citaro NGT buses will soon be in service in Madrid. Read more »
