France’s ID Logistics Receives First Bio-CNG Trucks

Republic Services Cuts GHGs with Renewable Natural Gas

RNG Emissions reduction Chart by Coalition for RNGRepublic Services, an industry leader in U.S. recycling and non-hazardous solid waste, will increase its usage of renewable natural gas (RNG) by three times what it used in 2016 through an expanded agreement with Clean Energy Fuels Corp. NGVA Europe Study Validates Emissions Advantage of Natural Gas Fuel 

NGVA Europe Report - W-t-WGHG Intensity Chart Passenger Vehicles NGVA Europe (the European Natural & bio Gas Vehicle Association) has published a study that shows natural gas reduces GHG emissions from passenger cars on a Well-to-Wheel (WtW) basis by 23% compared with petrol and by 7% compared with diesel. The study, entitled Greenhouse Gas Intensity of Natural Gas, also shows that for heavy-duty applications, benefits compared to diesel are of 16% for CNG and up to 15% for LNG. Also in the maritime sector, overall WtW benefits are up to 21% compared to conventional HFO (Heavy-Fuel-Oil) fuels. Read more »

LA Metro Selects Clean Energy’s Redeem RNG for Transit Fleet

Redeem Clean Energy BiomethaneClean Energy Fuels Corp., has been awarded a contract by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) to refuel its fleet of transit buses with renewable natural gas (RNG). The deal calls for Clean Energy to provide Metro its Redeem™ brand of RNG, the first renewable and commercially available vehicle fuel in the United States made entirely from 100% organic waste. Eni and Snam to Jointly Develop Italy’s NGV Refueling Infrastructure

CNG Fuels Joins UK’s NGV Network

Biomethane Decarbonises Nottingham Double-Deck Buses

Centre for RNG Opened in California

The Center is the first academic establishment in the United States dedicated to the study and applied research of renewable gas technologies.
