Scania has successfully tendered to supply 49 Citywide LF 18 metre Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses for public transportation in the French city of Lille. 28 vehicles will be delivered by the end of 2019. The  California Energy Commission has approved grants for demonstration projects that will apply innovative thinking to the production of renewable natural gas for transport applications from food waste and forest residue.
