Titan LNG & Rolande acquire ENGIE LNG Solutions B.V.

TitanLNG imageTitan LNG and its sister company Rolande have announced their acquisition of ENGIE LNG Solutions B.V. as per the first of March 2018. This entity covers the downstream LNG activities of ENGIE in The Netherlands and Belgium. Rolande will add ENGIE’s 4 truck-fuelling stations to its network, bringing the total number to 12. The marine activities will be merged into the portfolio of Titan. This includes projects and existing customer contracts. Read more »

Fluxys to add Permanent LNG Bunkering Facility to Port of Antwerp

Belgium Port AntwerpFluxys, independent operator of Belgium’s natural gas transmission system, has taken over the concession in the Port of Antwerp at quay 526-528 to make liquefied natural gas (LNG) available as an alternative fuel for ships and barges. The Italian vehicle manufacturer says their range answers French President Macron’s call for the conversion of the country’s heavy truck fleets to gas at the European Commission’s High-level Conference on Financing Sustainable Growth held in Brussels on March 22nd 2018: “It is also about committing resolutely to a transformation of the transport sector, through a widespread use of electric and hydrogen vehicles and the conversion of heavy freight to gas.” Read more »
