In the U.S. State of Arizona, Valley Metro Regional Public Transportation Authority (Valley Metro) and City of Phoenix Public Transit Department have united to procure Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses from New Flyer of America Inc. (New Flyer), the U.S. subsidiary of New Flyer Industries Inc. (NFI Group). They have contracted New Flyer to supply 199 Xcelsior® CNG, forty-foot heavy-duty transit buses, which will be converted from New Flyer’s backlog to a firm order. Read more »
