Entitled Alternative fuels and technologies for greener shipping, the paper examines the price, availability, regulatory challenges and environmental benefits of alternative fuels and technologies, including LNG, LPG, hydrogen, fuel cells, and hybrid and battery technologies, and comparing them to the use of conventional fuel with scrubbers and new low sulphur alternatives. Trillium CNG Contracted to Fuel and Maintain NY Public Bus Fleets

New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Bus Company, the largest bus fleet in North America, and New York City Transit (NYC Transit) have selected Trillium CNG to provide operations and maintenance services for six existing compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling facilities. This entity covers the downstream LNG activities of ENGIE in The Netherlands and Belgium. Rolande will add ENGIE’s 4 truck-fuelling stations to its network, bringing the total number to 12.
