AMGN Implores Mexican Governments to Support Natural Gas Fuel to Reduce Air Pollution

Last week in Mexico, the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (Comisión Ambiental de la Megalópolis – CAMe) declared in motion an extraordinary environmental contingency on May 14 due to the excessive fine particles existing in the air (PM2.5). A third of air pollution in the country is generated by the vehicle fleet, so cleaner fuels are required. The Mexican Association of Natural Gas (AMGN) is calling of governments in Mexico to promote widespread adoption of natural gas for cleaner transportation. Read more »

Inc., successfully conducted a truck-to-ship liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering demonstration at the port of Kitakyushu, the northernmost city on Japan’s Kyushu Island. This operation is the first LNG bunkering in the Setouchi and Kyushu areas of western Japan and advances the four companies’ discussions on the commercialization of a new business in the area. Pennsylvania Adds 500 Miles to Alt-Fuel Corridors

The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Department of Transportation (PennDOT) have designated 500 more miles of highway as “Alternative Fuel Corridors” with readily accessible CNG refuelling and EV charging stations. Belgium CNG Stations Proliferate

Enora CNG stationIt is four years since Enora, a company formed by ENGIE Electrabel, G&V Energy Group and the Picardy Wallonia Inter-Communal Development Agency (Ideta), inaugurated the first CNG service station in Wallonia, in the city of Tournai, home of Belgium’s heritage-listed Notre Dame Cathedral (12th century).
