Hexagon Composites ASA has signed a term sheet for a strategic cooperation and joint venture agreement with CIMC ENRIC, a leading Chinese manufacturer of energy equipment, headquartered in Shenzhen, People’s Republic of China. CIMC ENRIC is a subsidiary of China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd. (CIMC), a global leading supplier of transportation solutions headquartered in Shenzhen. A recent survey analyzed how environmental issues are viewed by Finnish and Swedish heavy-duty vehicle (HDV) fleet owners. According to the results, customers’ environmental expectations have increased in both Finland and Sweden, and 82% of fleet owners in both countries agree that an environment-focused mindset is a permanent phenomenon and not a passing trend. Liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied biogas (LBG) are low-emission fuel alternatives for road transport that are also cost effective. Read more »
Omnitek Engineering Corp. says it has entered into a Securities Purchase Agreement with G.ON Global Investments SRL, a limited liability company organized under the laws of Romania. G.ON Global was established by one of the original founders of Bucharest-based G.ON SRL, an Omnitek Engineering customer who engaged Omnitek in 2018 to develop a more than 400 hp 13-liter heavy-duty natural gas engine for Class 8 truck and bus applications. Air Liquide has acquired a majority equity in Norwegian company Skagerak Naturgass AS – a subsidiary of Skagerak Energi, which belongs to Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy, Statkraft. Skagerak Naturgass AS operates a distribution network delivering natural gas to industry, and 100% biomethane to the Norwegian transport sector through 4 bio-NGV (Natural Gas for Vehicle) stations installed in the Oslo region.
