June 25-29th, in Cairo this week.  The meeting was hosted by IGU’s Charter Member from Egypt, the Egyptian Gas Association with support from Taqa Arabia, METAS, Cheiron and Delek. i-FAST Automotive Logistics, part of FCA group, is the first company to have used the Stralis NP powered by LNG in the vehicle transportation sector. After more than 600,000 km in service, the ten Stralis NP fleet of i-FAST Automotive Logistics reached a reduction of 15% in fuel consumption compared to diesel. Thanks to this positive result i-FAST AL will add five extra LNG units to its fleet from December 2017. Read more »

The 2017 HHP Summit will convene industry leaders from the marine, mining, rail, and power generation sectors, November 6-9 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Erik Neandross, CEO of event organiser Gladstein, Neandross and & Associates (GNA), told NGV Global News: “The market for natural gas in the off-road high horsepower space is getting really exciting right now, even in spite of the sustained price of oil around $50.” Read more »

Blue Corridor Rally 2017 ‘Iberia – Baltia’ Starts Sept 18 in Lisbon

The city will host the flag-off ceremony on September 18. From there, the participants of the rally will drive to St. Petersburg where the grand finish, timed to St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, will take place on October 5th. Natural gas vehicles will cross the whole Europe from its South-West to the North-East, overcoming the distance of more than 5.5 thousand kilometres. Read more »
