Altech-Eco Corporation, a compressed natural gas (CNG) conversion systems manufacturer, has obtained Certificates of Conformity (C.O.C.) from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for both their CNG bi-fuelled and dedicated conversion systems for the 2011 Ford 6.2L V8 F-250/350 pickups with Ford supplied CNG gaseous prepped engine.
The dedicated version converts the vehicle to operate 100% on CNG. The bi-fuel version enables the vehicle to operate on either CNG or gasoline and allows users to take advantage of using CNG as a cleaner burning and more economical alternative fuel when available.
Altech-Eco’s seamless integrated systems are designed in collaboration with a Ford approved QCM (Qualified Calibration Modifier) for real-fleet applications and include CNG systems for the Ford Transit Connect, E-Series Vans, and others. “Every energy company, utility company and commercial fleet in America can benefit from our new and improved conversion systems,” said Miles George, V.P. of Altech-Eco.
