Aliara Energía, an energy services company in Madrid, has consolidated its commitment to natural gas fuel by inaugurating three new refueling stations in the districts of Latina, Fuencarral-El Pardo and Usera. This new implementation is part of the company’s strategy aimed at optimizing resources, savings, efficiency and the improvement and reduction of emissions, fundamentally supported by the use of natural gas as fuel.
During the opening ceremony the General Director of Sustainability and Environmental Control of the Madrid City Council, Mr. José Amador Fernández Viejo, who has shown his support for this type of initiatives, said: “Environmental responsibility is everyone’s commitment. Madrid is an exemplary and leading city in the use of NGV in its public service vehicles, specifically in the EMT and the trucks that collect urban solids. The opening of these three new gas stations facilitates the use of ecological alternatives to citizens and private companies.”
The inauguration of these three new stations reinforces Aliara Energía’s commitment to environmental responsibility. The General Director of Aliara Energía, Francisco Javier Sáez, explained that each of the stations is located in urban areas of great traffic, thereby encouraging more residents to commit to this cleaner and cheaper fuel. Savings of over 30% compared to diesel or gasoline are possible.
Continuing with its growth interests, Aliara Energía plans to build another four CNG refueling stations within the Community of Madrid throughout 2019.
