Algeria plans to spend DZD 60 billion (USD 830 million) on green energies and policies by 2030, focussing on the development of a domestic renewables industry, says the country Minister of Energy and Mines, Mr Youcef Yousfi, according to a Dow Jones report. The broad-reaching green energy program will include consideration of compressed natural gas for transportation as part of energy-saving measures.
