Environmental responsibility and care for future generations has led Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) to convert 20 of its 500 plus fleet of vehicles to run on compressed natural gas (CNG). “By the end of 2015, we intend to convert 20% of our vehicles to run on CNG powered alternatives,” said Ahmed Abdul Karim Al Sharaf, Acting Director of Communication and Community Service at ADFCA, reports AMEinfo. Al Sharaf explained that the change to natural gas vehicles (NGVs) is in line with the directive of the Government of Abu Dhabi for environmental protection and the conservation of natural resources.
