Bigger Engines, Bigger Market – Emission Solutions Targets 2010 This Year

April 4, 2007

USA, Texas

Texas-based Emissions Solutions, Inc. is aiming to meet 2010 NOx standards this year as it broadens its product line beyond the Phoenix NG 7.6L and moves into bigger engines. "We really need a bigger engine," says ESI president Jim Moore. The 7.6-liter NG 7.6L is based on International Truck & Engine's DT 466, a straight six. ESI is looking to move to an 8.7-liter engine, also based on a straight-six International block. More details – Fleets and Fuels.
