
ANGVA 2009 - Donghae, Korea
ANGVA’s 3rd Conference and Exhibition, to be held in Donghae City, Korea, has been boosted by the advent of a ‘Green Highways’ project and a new communications partner.
ANGVA Green Highways 2009 (Participation Invited)
ANGVA has developed two green highway routes leading to Donghae City in time for ANGVA 2009, 27th-29thOct ’09. The objectives are to create awareness and promote NGV, ANGVA, and NGV Infrastructure and to promote harmonisation of Standards and Code of Practices along the routes.
ANGVA Green Highway A commences in Tehran and runs through Iran -Pakistan -India -Bangladesh -Myanmar -China -Korea. ANGVA Green Highway B commences in Surabaya and runs through Indonesia -Singapore -Malaysia -Thailand -Laos -Vietnam -China -Korea.
In preparation for the ANGVA Green Highways 2009, ANGVA Secretariat has formed teams in the countries along the routes from Tehran, IR Iran to Donghae, Korea and from Jakarta, Indonesia to Donghae, Korea.
The latest update on the teams formation and the proposed routes can be found on the ANGVA website. ANGVA would like to invite more companies and organisations to participate in the ANGVA Green Highways 2009, by contacting the ANGVA Secretariat or the various team leaders for detail of participation and sponsorships. ANGVA members and interest participants and sponsors are invited to participate in this ANGVA Green Highways 2009 teams meeting and also the 2nd Annual CNG – NGV Asia Pacific Forum, 3 – 5th August, 2009, The Shangri-la Hotel, Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Green Highway Project is the second for ANGVA, following one in 2007 which concluded in Bangkok, Thailand.

ANGVA 2009′s organizing committee has signed an agreement with Asian NGV Communications magazine that will encourage increased stakeholder participation at the 3rd Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Conference and Exhibition in Korea, running from 27-29 October. The agreement, signed 17 June at GNV 2009 Madrid by Mayor of host city, Donghae, appoints Asian NGV Communications to represent international exhibition sales agent and recruit new exhibitors outside Korea and China for ANGVA 2009. Asian NGV Communications has also agreed to offer its active cooperation to attract participants in an effort to make the exhibition successful.
