Earlybird discounts closed August 31 – Bonus prize draw for earlybirds
Online registrations have commenced for what is expected to be the largest natural gas vehicle conference and exhibition in the world this year. ANGVA 2007, being held in Bangkok, Thailand from November 27-29, will focus on the world’s fastest growing NGV markets, located in nations that account for more than two thirds of the world’s population. The event features a three-day conference with three concurrent streams, a day of technical tours, a safety workshop and more than 6000 m2 of trade displays over a three-day exhibition.
ANGVA 2007 is the 2nd biennial conference and exhibition of the Asia-Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association and follows the first successful event held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2005. With natural gas vehicle numbers growing dramatically in the region, worldwide interest is high in the event. Exhibition organizers, Bangkok Exhibition Services, have already had to expand on their initial booking that the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) to accommodate demand from exhibitors worldwide.
The conference will explore the theme, The Future Is Now, highlighting the role of natural gas vehicles in economic and environmental sustainability and energy security and diversity. Stakeholders from within and outside of the industry will find plenty of interest with conference streams covering policy, safety and standards, biomethane, case studies, innovations in fuel storage, engine developments, emissions, refueling technology, OEM developments in the region, hydrogen and natural gas blends, and a collection of reports outlining developments in several countries.
The conference programme will also include complimentary attendance at a welcome gala dinner, hosted by PTT PLC at the spectacular Siam Niramit.
Early birds get the worm prize
Though the conference is already priced at an incredibly low rate for an event of this magnitude, the organizers have added an additional incentive on top of the usual early bird discounts. Delegates to register and pay before August 31 will go into a draw to win their choice of a Canon DVD video camera, Mt Blanc platinum plated pen or a Nokia mobile phone/pda.
