Altech-Eco’s US EPA Certification Run Continues – 2010 Ford E-Series

June 23, 2010

US company Altech-Eco Corporation, a division of TransEco Energy, has added yet another Certificate of Conformity (COC) from the EPA to its growing list of approved retrofit conversion systems for natural gas vehicles, this time adding the dedicated 2010 Ford E-Series 5.4L compressed natural gas (CNG) conversion system. The approval means a US $8,000 Federal Income Tax Credit is available for purchasers, through Altech-Eco or its vendors.

The system converts the E-150, E-250 & E-350 Series Vans to run exclusively on CNG, and the system is totally complete and includes manufacturer-rated CNG cylinders with fuel storage capacity starting at of 15 GGE (Gas Gallon Equivalent) and an extended option of 30 GGE’s, with a driving range of 300 – 360 miles depending on fueltank size.

Altech-Eco provides a lifetime warranty on all conversion system emissions components. The CNG conversion system for the 2010 Ford E-Series is now available at select participating Ford dealerships and approved aftermarket conversion facilities, or by contacting Altech-Eco.
