ADAC Honours for VW Touran TSI EcoFuel

Touran 1.4 TSI EcoFuel

Volkswagen is yet again among the award winners of the renowned ADAC “Yellow Angel” in 2011. The Volkswagen Touran 1.4 TSI Ecofuel received a prize in the category “Future”, which is intended to honour the highest state of development in the areas of suitability for daily use, efficiency, environmental compatibility and safety. Here, the especially low CO2 emissions for a vehicle of this class, amounting to a mere 126 g/km. The car uses approximately 4.7 kilograms of natural gas per 100 kms. In 2010, it was also recognised as the most economically friendly seven-seater in the VCD list of environmentally friendly cars.
