
The low-entry MB Econic CNG enters service for Veolia, in Sheffield.
Sheffield City Council and Veolia Environmental Services, the Council’s recycling and waste management contractor, have launched the country’s largest fleet of gas-fuelled vehicles today, states a company press release. The ten recycling and waste collection lorries — low-entry Mercedes Econic CNG vehicles — will run on compressed natural gas (CNG).
